"Outside instanced" Drak'Tharon Keep

I found a way to go "outside instanced" Drak'Tharon Keep, so you can explore the area if you want, here is the guide:

When you get out to the place where you can look into the wild, position yourself like this: http://img143.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030fm3.jpg

Then go up the rail like this: http://img76.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030xu1.jpg

And move out, just keep walking till you hit a wall, dont be afraid to fall down as you can stand in the air on this part:

http://img357.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030fv4.jpg

Then just keep following the wall on the left like this:

http://img153.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030ai3.jpg

Then when you reach around this point:

http://img139.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030ke1.jpg

You should walk in a 90 degree to the left, like i didnt do in this pic (:P)

and then you will begin to fall:

http://img153.imageshack.us/my.php?image=wowscrnshot112408232030lw8.jpg

And you should get down to around this spot:

Now as you see i died because i didnt aim for the water, but anyways, this should basicly be it.

Now go explore whats down there, or maybe go fish?

Tiny priest exploit (inner Focus)

When Mind Sear is used with inner focus, The mana cost is reduced 100% and it gains a 25% crit chance per tick. This part is intentional. Now for the little bug, The first time you use mind sear, it isn't consumed, not sure how many times you can use it, but I've had a free 25% crit mind sear 3 times in a row before. Just cast it as normally and let it channel, near the end (1 second remaining) recast it.

Tl;Dr for those who want this in steps

Step 1: Cast Inner Focus

Step 2: Cast Mind sear, let channel until 1 sec remaining

Step 3: Recast Mind sear

Repeat.

The skills used are (If you really need this %26gt;_%26gt;) Mind sear, Level 75 Trainable shadow ability for priests

Inner Focus : 11 point talent in Discipline. Enjoy!

Fly before level 77 in Dragonblight!

First you have to get the quest On_Ruby_Wings and you get an item called the Ruby Beacon of the Dragon Queen.

This item is supposed to let you only fly in the area near Wyrmrest, but if you don't turn in the quest and fly out of the zone you will get a 10 second countdown and most of the time afterward, you aren't ejected from the mount.

This makes questing in the rest of the zone VERY quick considering it's an epic flying mount speed and you can avoid aggro with it.

Note: I suggest flying low to the ground, in case you are ejected and don't want to die a painful falling death.

1 Item. 1-2k Profit

Tome of Polymorph: Black Cat - Item - World of Warcraft

also this can be considered

Tome of Polymorph: Serpent - Item - World of Warcraft

Npc selling the book is here

Endora Moorehead - NPC - World of Warcraft

Alot of people dont have a clue this item can be bought or confuse this item with the turtle drop.

This is a Limited Quantity item (i think 6 hour respawn shared for both books, so 12 hour per book).

Basically i just bought it then posted it on the AH for 3499G and it was sold the next day. My server is pretty small so this is on a high pop server would go for more as more of the same class need it. Also the more you are in kirin tor rep the less it cost u to buy.

You can also buy the Arcane Brilliance books and resell them. I personally didnt have much success with those simply cause ppl think 1k for a spell make no sense. But the book is pretty catchy.

LW Money (with borean leather-Heavy Borean)

on my server borean leather sells for 20g a stack. A stack of 10 Heavy borean leather sells for 300g so...... If your a Leatherworker buy borean leather and make it into Heavy then sell the Heavy Borean leather on the AH easy profit and you could get some skill points in Leather working. So far i have made 2000g of this. Buy large amounts. Heavy leather is needed alot in LW and possibly other professions.

Good luck, hope this helped

Great Spot for Eternal Fire & Water

if you want eternal fire and water the easy way on Level 80 don't got to wintergrasp - the droprate is low, the mobs are high level and the respanwrate sucks. Go to borean tundra at around 48/13. Shitload of water and fire elementals around Level 68-70, droprate is around 1 crytsal / 2 mobs. Can be killed very very easy and respawn very fast. Hey, a few steps from there you can get eternal air, too...check out 44/10.

Well, it's more a tip than a guide.

Tip - Making easy money (or use as pots) as a starter DK

In the Deathknight starter zone, down in EPL you will see a cauldron that looks like the ones from EPL quests, except there's some guy there. Accept his quest, it will tell you to go kill citizens and get bones of some sort from them. Well go kill them, you can easily aoe them near the building where the mayor is. Go turn in the quest and you will receive 5 pots that return health and runic power.

These vendor for around 3g IIRC, or you can use them as pots. I've done the quest 4 times and received 20 pots total, I never thought of doing it heaps for pots to go as I level.

As they are decent pots they help when leveling, or you can just do thwe quest heaps for a few gold for whatever.

It's just a simple guide for starter DK's who don't want to spend money buying super pots or whatever.

The Nexus heroic mode tip for last boss Keristrasza

In heroic mode, Keristrasza does the same as normal mode, so you have to keep moving at all times to avoid getting too many stacks of the debuff she puts on you, but she also freezes you to the spot, so you can not move.

I tried standing in one spot and jumping a lot. This did not only remove the debuff, but I also avoided several of those freezing buffs by jumping.

So jump jump jump, pretend it's PvP.

[ACHIEVEMENT] Going Down?

Something simple I came across. If you're looking for an easy way to get the Going Down? Achievement, check this out.

* In in the center of Dragonblight there is a tower called Wyrmrest Temple. Everyone will most likely go there while leveling since it has several quests.

* When you fly to the 2nd flower, you are fairly high. High enough to jump without dying.

Mining in Wintergrasp

For everyone who does not know. Wintergrasp is a literal Gold Mine... or Titanium Mine... Either way, a few hours in here will always yield a good chunk of cash. THIS IS NOT A GET MONEY QUICK SCHEME, this takes time, but its an amazing farming spot. The zone only containes Saronote and Titanium, so get past Colbalt before coming here.

Currently i have mapped about 95% of Wintergrasp's Node locations. Keep in mind, there are a few nodes that you can only reach with a flying mount.

Here is my map for everyone.

How to effectively read this map.

Optional Code to put into your Cartographer.lua to display all these nodes on your own map.

I have it at the top of my file.

Do not ask me how to get this to work, if you know how to put it in, grats.

Mount macro that works in Northrend

As anyone who has gotten the cold weather flying skill can attest to, the current mount macros doesn't work in Dalaran, Lake Wintergrasp and so on. Here is one that does though (replace with your mount info).

/script local m=GetZoneText() if (m=="Dalaran" or m=="Wintergrasp") and (GetSubZoneText()~="Krasus' Landing") then CallCompanion("MOUNT", 1);end

/use [flyable, nomounted] Swift Green Wind rider; [nomounted] Acherus Deathcharger

/dismount

The "MOUNT", 1 part may need to be replaced depending on your mount position.

Icy dragonscale = gold (req skining)

Hey guys. A very nice way to make gold with skinning it's Icy Dragonscale. In violet hold u can find dragons that are dropping this kind on leather. On my server u can sell 1xIcy Dragonscale for 22g. In a run u can get 20x Icy Dragonscale. For 30 mins that's a big profit. Good luck guys!

Best hurry, because the prices for eternals are higher now than they every will be!

For this guide, it helps for your faction to have control of Wintergrasp, as it will show you how to farm eternal fire in Wintergrasp very quickly. On my server, eternal fires go for 75-150g, and I can farm up to 12 per hour.

[Exploit] Extra 200-300dps Pet in Sholazar Basin

    Pick up this quest:

A Rough Ride - Quest - World of Warcraft

If you can't pick it up, then do some quests from the same dude, and you will eventually be able to get the quest.
Use the item in your backpack named Zeptik's Hunting Horn
Zeptik spawns, he does 200-300 dps both ranged and melee. He will also bandage you and himself.
    ???
    Profit

*This can only be used in Sholazar Basin, however, you can summon him whenever you want and as many times as you want. Just don't abandon the quest!

Seriously Annoy Groups in Conquest Hold

So, while leveling one of my Chars in Grizzly Hill,

I came across the small series of Quests in Conquest Hold

in the Pit.

We where just going through the Quests, knocking down the bear, the Furbolg, the Orc, that Machine Guy.

Then we accepted last part, which is the Showdown between Gorgonna and some other Elite Orc with here 2 Followers.

Of course, we killed those 3 and were just about to turn it in,

when someone accepted the first part of the Quest-Series (The Bear).

The Mob Spawned in the Pit, with Gorgonna still in there with the yellow question mark on her head..... And what happened?

She began attacking the mob, preventing you from turning in the Quest.

But that's not the worst part.

You cannot attack the Mob Gorgonna is attacking.

And since she is so much weaker than any of the first 4, she dies in about 10 seconds.

And when she dies, the quest counts as failed.

So heres the summary:

1. Wait till a group has killed Gorgonnas opponents.

2.Quickly accept any of the 4 Quests before the Final Showdown.

3. Enjoy!

Oh, and if this happens to you,

quickly run up to the fortress and turn it in there.

FIND: Keep Orphaned Mammoth *Temporarily*

Didn't know if anyone posted this, but here it is.

If you are doing a chain in Borean Tundra you can obtain this quest:

Khu'nok Will Know - Quest - World of Warcraft

And you have to return the oprhaned mammoth, but if you abandon the quest, it stays. You can have your own companion until you logout

I didn't know if this was an exploit, so I put "FIND" in my thread name. Thanks for looking!

Easy Money Making Exploitable Spot World of Warcraft install

WHERE/WHAT:

In Northweatern Westfall, running along the cliff, there is a lone
windmill with a tiny shack at its base. It is surrounded by 6-7 Defias
mobs, levels 12-13.

Whats the catch?

They respawn immediately. Get the drift?

WHAT LEVEL YOU SHOULD BE:

I would suggest 24+, however I was 33 when I discovered it, and it is
still extremely useful when you reach 60.

WHAT TO USE THIS SPOT FOR:

1) Grinding/Maxing new weapon proficiencies...
2) Leveling a toon (lvl 5-16)...and getting him rich, as well.
3) Farming Linen. (For you linen clowns, I easily loot 100 linen in
about 5 minutes).
4) Farming these nice little nets that occasionally drop.

Midgame Guide: Hunter Leveling WoW Gold

This is a guide to leveling as a hunter. I will discuss leveling methods, gear and talent specs.

The class
The hunter is a ranged DPS class, so don't try to play it any other way (NO, you can't be a melee hunter. Roll a rogue instead). A well played hunter is a asset to any group, since they can DPS all out and wipe all their agro with feign death and repeat. Furthermore their pets are excellent to keep on standby as bodyguards for the healers. Also pets, when solo, can get you out of most sticky situations; just leave it to die and run away and feign death.

Leveling methods
Hunters are one of the easiest, if not the easiest, class to level. Due to their pet they can distract mobs around quest items or simply get clean away and FD without fear of getting resisted. As other classes, you can either quest or grind your levels. I prefer to mix it up and grind when I am short on time or couldn't be arsed to travel to an area and find my way around.
Whichever you choose, I highly suggest doing nothing but instances from 58-60 to gear up and get all your key quests done. Not doing so, means missing out on a huge amount of XP.

The traditional ways are:

Grinding:
Not much to say about this. You kill mobs, they give XP, you lvl. If you don't have a comprehensive knowledge of where quests take you and which order is best, grinding is pretty fast for leveling.
It can be pretty boring, but listening to music or being on Vent/TS helps a lot. Get a rhytm going and stay in it. Take breaks when you mana up to not go completely blind )

The following is pretty good list of where to grind which mobs. It is however from a Horde perspective and you need to scroll down a bit to get to the guide ) If you read the whole bit, there are some suggestions for alternatives, which work just as well...if not better.
http://www.mpsgames.com/ms/index.cfm?page=...%26amp;forumid=63

And the following lists some nice alliance spots for grinding. Also are some suggestions on questing.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/op=show/kid=515.html

Questing:
If you know your way around the world, this is the fastest way to level up. This is also known as gresting to some. Decent horde guides are few and far between (there are some on this site), alliance have it a lot better.

Horde - if you are horde, use Joana's guide. That will take you from 1-60 in 5 days /played. It's written from a hunter perspective, so my suggestion is staggering your progress in the guide by a lvl or two. Other than that, there are some (admittedly with holes in them) guides here in the strat section. An idea is to try and modify the following Alliance guide.
http://forums.blizzhackers.com/viewtopic.php?t=309717 is the text guide (thanks Bay_Cassius
http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=wow+...warcraft+levels are links to all the videos (thanks sQren)

Alliance - if you are Alliance, you got it made! The following guide will quickly and easily take you from 30-60. Reason it's 30, is because of the quests pre that are in and around the starter areas, so just level quickly to 30 and you are set.
http://www.wow-pro.com/Knowledge_Base/cat=135.html

Talent specs
For leveling I recommend Beastmastery (BM) and then Marksman(MM) up to 60. If you decide doing 58-60 in instances, consider re-speccing to Marksman/survival (link to endgame guide: hunter later).
Reason for BM, is that it really makes a difference in your pet and your pet isn't gear dependent (unlike you). With full BM, your pet has about the same DPS as you autoshooting.

This is the spec I suggest for leveling:
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=mi0h0xgRttVohx
31 BM / 20 MM

Go BM until 40, then MM up to Aimed shot and then fill out the rest of MM. With BM, your pet holds agro like a champ and you won't be able to peel it off of it.

Method of pulling: pull with a serpent sting, send in pet, auto shoot it until dead. If it runs, concussive shot it and maybe fire off an Arcane shot. The most important thing when grinding/questing is to stack your mana use, so you get long periods of mana-regen (eg. hunter mark mob, sting it, wait until mob starts to run, then conc shot+arcan shot it. This way you have 20 or so secs of mana regen). This way you don't need drinks at all.

Gear
Hunters get mail at 40 and a nice set for that is the 'tough scorpid' set.http://www.thottbot.com/?s=tough+scorpid It's all AGI and SPI, so you hit hard and regen mana fast. It can be a bit tricky to get the set, so feel free to mix in any kind of AGI gear. AP-gear can often be had as well, so if you get some cheap AP gear toss that in the mix. The endgame guide: hunter has a bit more on gear, so check that out for gear at 58-60.

PETS!
A good site for pet info is this one:
http://www.goodintentionsguild.info/hunters.html

It's a bit outdated, but the lay out is really good and it has a lot of info.

Getting a pet is a question of doing a quest at lvl 10 (get it from your trainer), then go tame a pet. As you progress your career, you can put down a freezing trap, use aspect of monkey and tame it. This way you won't get hit much.

Pet choice up to 37-38 is optional, but cats are always good. Alternatively get a boar, since they have some nice specials (a root). At 37/38 go to Badlands and get Broken Tooth. He is a rare spawn with a 1.00 attack speed, which almost guarantees he will get a frenzy proc early in the fight, so he is worth the wait.
Here is some info about him:
http://www.thottbot.com/?n=657251

And here are his spawn points:
http://www.thottbot.com/?m=657251

You will have to camp the spots for him, since he is rare, but if you stand in the middle of the map up on a ledge you can 'Eagle eye' all 3 spawn points. He spawns around the ridge stalkers in the area, but he is NOT stealthed, so if you see a sand-coloured cat, it's most likely Broken Tooth.

Keep and use Broken Tooth until 60. At 60, get a boar as well (From EPL) and get a wolf from LBRS (since they have the highest rank dash and bite, and they also have furious howl, which is a pretty decent raid damage adder).
The boar is easy enough to get, but the wolf can be tricky to get without a group. You can however easily duo it with another hunter (the easiest wolf to get is in a patrol with 2 wolfs and one humanoid after the ogres and the small insects) and 2-3 pots of invis and liberal use of FD+pet distraction. PLEASE bring a pet you don't mind getting rid of when you attempt to get the wolf )
Here is a walk-through to getting it. Soloing takes very good gear, so I recommend bringing a friend or being willing to use a lot of pots and elixirs.
http://petopia.brashendeavors.net/html/tameLBRSworgsolo.html

Life after 60
I wrote an Endgame guide: hunter, which you should read if you plan on PVE-raiding )
http://www.mpsgames.com/ms/index.cfm?page=...%26amp;forumid=62

Other than that, enjoy your hunter. It's a rewarding class, and people will love grouping with you...if you are a good player. There are however a lot of sucky hunters, so be ready to take some prejudice ) But it's still by far the best farmer and in PVE it's a very good DPS'er.

Steal XP Items in instances Warcraft burning crusade

Hi, im here to tell you guys the way i ninja 2 bosses in ZF before the group inside got mad and left. Thats right im not part of the dungeon group. this is a little time consuming, but id like it tried out on Higher level instances.
You must first be part of the instance group, then when your on the group, walk inside the instance you are going to and pull the whole '!@#$%^%26amp;* i gotta go thing'
after this log out
the group will mostly likely replace you
after you log out a screen pops up that says you have 59 secs til you are hearthed cuz you are not part of the groups instance, you actually have 39 secs to run thru the instance and log back out. The timer will restart, and you have more time, but it gets easy to run thru as the group you were previously with clears the way.
the only downside i have seen to this is if you want to ninja a boss they have to kill it within 39 secs, which i think was only possible for me in zf becuz of the 2 level 60s in the group, but i did happen to get rare mace from the bastalisk boss Ahnt' sul i think it is. i think with this you can at least ninja some xp in higher level instances. But it worked for me, so now ill let you guys know.

Kharazan Attunement Warcraft rank

Summary:
Kharazan is a 10 man raid instance which consists of 13 new bosses. It is the greatest challenge of any raid or instance we have ever done yet. Being limited to 10 people, it will require for each and everyone of us to display our individual skills as well as working together as a team. There will be lots of blood shed, and everyone is given a fair warning of the circumstances.
Getting attuned to kharazan is not a mission that any ordinary group of people can complete. It is a test of will, strength, and endurance that only the best will be able to overcome.

Lets get started with the attunement process:

There are 2 prerequisite quests to complete before you are able to receive the attunement chain. They are both accessable at lvl 68 through Archmage Alturus located outside of karazhan in Deadwind Pass (Azeroth):

A. Arcane Disturbances -
Archmage will ask you to locate the Underground Pond, and Underground well. This is a simple task, Both are located near each other. The Underground well is located about 20 steps west of the archmage in one of the destroyed houses with unliving residents roaming around. You will find some stairs that lead to an underground cellar, Its fairly small so finding the well shouldn't be too difficult. In the direct opposite location of the stairs that lead to the underground well, there is a replica of stairs that will lead you to the underground pond. All you need to do is walk near the pond and well to complete the quest objectives.

B. Restless Activity -
Archmage will ask you to collect 10 ghostly essences off of the ghosts and unliving residents that roam around the cellar and general area. These are about a 30% drop rate and very easy to complete in a 2-3 man group. They are also scattered throught the path to the underground pond and well, so you can complete both quests at the same time.

Once both of these quests are completed, return to the Archmage and he will give you the starting quest to Karazhan attunement called:

1. Contact from Dalaran -
You simply travel to Dalaran, north of southshore and talk to Archmage cedric. He is north of Dalaran by the lake. (Approx 17,54 with coords)

Archmage Cedric will then give you a quest to speak to Khadgar in shattrah city.

2. Khadgar -
Khadgar is located in the center of the upper level of shattrah city. He is the Npc that you get to choose Aldor or Scryer Rep from.

Khadgar will then give you the next quest.

3. Entry into Karazhan -
This will require a good 5 man team capable of clearing the Shadow Labirynth located in Achindoun, Terokkar Forest. The key for this instance is dropped off of the final boss in sethekk halls located in Achindoun, Terokkar Forest or can be opened by a maxed out lockpicking rogue. It's not extremely difficult compared to the other 5 mans you will be required to complete for the rest of the key, but the last boss is what makes it complicated. The Arcane Container which contains the Key fragment u need is located behind the Final boss of the Shadow lab Murmur. You must kill Murmur to be able to open the container and take the key. You can look up boss strats for murmur at wowhead, which is an awesome database and source of information for all Burning Crusade bosses and quests.

Once the First key fragment is obtained, return to khadgar and he will give you the next quest.

4. The Second and Third Fragments -
For this Quest, you must obtain 2 more key fragments, One of which is located inside the SteamVault, Coilfang Reservoir Zangarmarsh, and The other in Arcatraz, Tempest Keep Netherstorm. (You will need a flying mount to access this instance or a lock to summon you to the entrance)
The Key in steamvault is a bit tricky to recover. It is actually soloable as a rogue. A 5 man group can clear the main room, and Right before Hydromancer Thespia's room (First boss who you are not required to kill) there is a giant lake to the right. Jump into the lake and swim to the bottom. Right at the bottom you will see the arcane container which contains the Second Key Fragment. Collect it and move to the second part of the quest.
The key in arcatraz is very simple to find. The problem is getting into arcatraz, since it requires a major chain quest to obtain the key and a flying mount to get there. The easiest thing to do would be to have a rogue lockpick the door for you instead of doing the Tedious chain for the key. Once inside, you must clear the first and second rooms, Third room contains the first boss and a bunch of mobs that are all optional to kill. You will see a ramp in the third room. Take it and it will lead you upstairs into the fourth room. Just to the right of the entrance to the fourth room you wil lsee the Arcane container which contains the Third key fragment. Collect it and head back to khadgar.

5. The Master's Touch -
From our exeperience, this is by far the most difficult 5 man iv'e done. If you haven't been to The Caverns of time yet, you will be required to complete the Old Hillsbrad Foothills quest of rescuing Warcheif Thrall before you can enter the Black Morass and talk to medivh to complete the quest. The old hillsbrad is a simple lvl 66-65 instance that contains an escort quest to unlock the black morass.
WARNING: Before entering the Black Morass, you must ensure that you are in a great group with raiding specced players. There is an extremely difficult event that takes place, which is the gretest test of strength you will face in this quest line. ITs pretty self explanatory, but u will be required to defend medivh from an infinite amount of spawning mobs as he attempts to open the dark portal. There are 18 rifts, and a major boss on the 6th, 12th, and 18th rift. Like we said, its extremely difficult and you must be in a good group to complete this. Pugs will not cut it.

Upon completion of this quest, you will be redirected to return to Khadgar once more.

6. Return to Khadgar -
Khadgar will restore the Key, and ask you to return to Archmage Alturius in Karazhan once more.

7. The Violet Eye -
This is the quest that will ask you to return to Archmage Alturius in Karazhan once more.

Upon completion of The violet eye, You will now be granted access into Karazhan. Congradulation on completing the Attunement!
From this point, there is another chain that Archmage Alturius gives you to talk to someone inside the instance. You will be able to complete this in your first 10 man Karazhan raid.

Grinding Guide LvL 35-60 World of Warcraft alla

Intro
No matter how you slice it, grinding is the fastest way to level in WoW. Maybe not the most fun, but it is much faster than questing.

Now, I'd say the best time to start grinding wouldn't be right off - You can get to 35 very easily questing, but after that, it's more of a pain in the as.

There are various good places to grind, so there is some overlapping.

Unfortunately, this applies mostly to damage dealers of the melee variety. Mages and Warlocks may be able to use them, but I don't have as much experience with them.

Warning: Alot of these areas are densely packed with mobs, so you are likely to get adds when you first begin clearing. However, the denser they are, that means the more spawns in the shortest distance - Exactly what you want when grinding.

Levels might be off by the order of 1 or 2, as your grinding ability might be different than that of the classes I have played. I apologize if they are, but I'm fairly sure these spots are mostly accurate.

Grinding areas will only support one person. Any more, and it will be alot slower for EXP. If someone is at the spot you planned on using, try somewhere else. I've tried to provide a good spread of places to try at different levels, but if you can't find one, you might just have to try later
----------

Preparing
If you're a melee class, I cannot stress the fact that first aid and food are godsends, and will reduce your downtime greatly. Love them. They are VERY useful.

You might also want to spend some money on +stat potions that last for an hour, as well as +hp regen. You're going to mostly be grinding on mobs that have good drops, so you'll have more to spend.

----------
Grinding

34-37
Venture Co. Meteorologists at Lake N. in Stranglethorn Vale
I love these guys. I mentioned them in the gold guide, and I really do love them. They have good drops, and they die fast. Hunters can sometimes even take two on at a time, as they like to stay at range and use their lightning bolt attack. Sic a pet on one, and take out the other yourself. They don't always stay at range, however, so your milage may vary.

36-38
The Naga on the islands in Desolace have low armor, and there are casters in the mix. Be wary of the wandering sea giants, though. One will walk across the island every now and then, and they'll kill you if they sees you.

37-39
The Murlocs by Grom'Gol in STV are excellent grinding. They have, as per usual, low defense, and take alot of damage. Some casters mixed in the fray as well.

36-46
In the Badlands, there are ALOT of rock elementals. They range from about 37 to 42 or so, if I remember correctly. They're sort of close to the Horde base, so Alliance might be weary of the area. They die fast, and they have some pretty good vendor drops. Higher level ones spawn by the Ogres camp, and have a chance of spwaning Rumbler, a named rock elemental. There's also a few quests right by the lower ones, so some extra EXP is fun.

40-43
The Scalding Whelps in the Badlands are fun to grind. They're basicly casters, low def and HP, high damage. They also have a chance of dropping a a Tiny Black Whelpling, which can go for 20-50 gold on some servers in the AH, and are pretty cool pets regardless.

40-46
The Wastewander humans in Tanaris are great grinding for a large level range. They start off at level 40 and 41, and ramp up to 44 or so, and then you can move to the pirates, which range from 44-45 (Or is it 46?). Chests spawns are all over the place too, so you can get some phat lewt. My gold guide has more in depth information on their location.

42-45
The Naga in Stranglethorn Vale are pretty easy to kill, though there aren't any caster mobs mixed in. I personally don't like this one, but it is viable.

44-46
There are some more Naga on an island in Feralas, south of Feathermoon Stronghold or whatever. I've never been there personally, but I've heard good things about it. A named naga spawns at the top of one of the caves, 24 hour spawn.

45-48
Also in Feralas, there are some Yeti in the Feral Scare Vale. The normal ones are about level 45, and they ramp up to level 48 or so. Pretty good grinding, but the range of movement is sorta large.

46-48
The ghosts in Azshara are great. I love them. I can't stress how awesome they are. They drop insane mageweave and silver, and are absolutely excellent to kill. The Litchlings are casters, and die even faster than the Apprentices, which go down FAST. I absolutely love these. However, on my server, several 57+ gold farmers also camp them fairly actively Sad

47-49
I've heard good things about the Dunemaul ogres in Tanaris, though I don't have much experience with the area.

47-49
I like elementals, and here are some more Smile. In the Searing Gorge Cauldron, and a little bit North of it, there are plenty to grind.

49-52
Deadwood Village in Felwood is decent grinding, and you can also use it to raise your Timbermaw faction. Not much I can say about it.

52-54
The Ogres in the Burning Steppes are pretty good. Same thing as with other ogres.

53-58
More ghosts! This time in Winterspring, on the frozen lake. I %26lt;3 these guys.

53-58
Running around in the Plaguelands killing undead. Raising Argent Dawn faction is a pain, so you might want to go ahead and do slightly slower grinding at the gain of being able to raise your faction at the same time. It's also possible to go to 60 doing this, but it's mind numbingly boring... But for some, the faction is worth it. You cannot gain faction from killing monsters when you are level 60, so if you plan on grinding them for the faction, you may really want to do this until 60

57-60
If you're a rogue, Blackrock Stronghold is the place to be. You will die a few times getting down a beat, but once you have the timing going well, you'll be dominating the area. Half the mobs there are casters, and the other half still have low armor compaired to most mobs of this level

Immunity to Rogue Stealth Attacks World of Warcraft guide

If you say /lay, you of course will lay down. The trick with this is, if you hear the stealthing sound of a nearby rogue, he will be unable to use attacks that require them to be behind you (backstab, ambush, etc).

Zul Farrak Easy Sergeant Bly boss fight Warcraft quest

Did this last night with my priest.
After completing the temple and killing the 2 bossess with the prisoners :biggrin:sergeant bly and his remaining crew will stand there and wait for you to insult him so you can kick his trash. well to make this fight a little easyer. firts talk to the goblin to blow open the doors then just Wait. after a few min the entire group will start to despawn/hearthstone if you time it just right they will all start to de-spawn you talk to sergeant bly and insult him. well this pissess him off and wants to fight but all of him hommies have already hearthed out so you take him on 5 on 1.

Gnome = Rogue, Warrior, Mage, Warlock 4/9
----------
[2] Race, Class Strengths

Troll
Because of the added Agility and Berserking that the Troll has; Troll is best played as a Melee class. Troll as a warrior provides an excellent Fury/Arms warrior, here s a spec:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4678 PvP/Grinding
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4724 Fury Shield

The Troll as a Rogue is also a great bet, because of Berserking and Agility:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=83 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7345 PvE Build

Also, Troll is an excellent Hunter class; because of the Agility bonus:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3935 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=2075 Pet Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=8639 Raid Build

Blood Elf
The most we can say about Blood Elf, is that since they have AoE silence; they will dominate all life in Azeroth if paired with a Melee class. Here s some specs for Warrior :

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4771 Tanking Build 20man +
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7680 Protection Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5126 Arms/Protection
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4724 Fury Shield

Blood Elfs make good Roges because of their AoE silence and mana tap which adds 10 energy per-use :

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=83 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7410 Combat/Assass Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7345 PvE Build

Since BE is the only Paladin on Horde side; you have no choice:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6141 Healer/Tanking
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6103 Full Support * Priest with Plate *
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3797 Two Handed Monster

Orc
We think Orc is the hybrid race; with high stun resist and excellent rage regeneration, Orc plays out for both Melee and Magic, here are some specs for a Shaman:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6359 PvP Build *High stun resist*
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5454 Restoration Build

As an Orc Warrior, players should go with Arms/Protection because of higher starting Strength and stun resist the Orc Warrior is a more efficient one:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4771 Tanking Build 20man +
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7680 Protection Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5126 Arms/Protection

Undead
Undead is an excellent Magic class; because of higher starting Intellect than any race in the hordish arsenal can put up, heres specs for Mages:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7234 PvE/Raiding Frost Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5738 PvP Fire/Frost Build

Undead for Warlocks are also extremely potent because of the Will of the Forsaken and higher starting Intellect, any kind of Lock is fine:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5290 Nuke/DOT Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3790 Destro Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=351 Demonology/Affliction Build

Tauren
It s a shame that we don t see many Tauren Druids around, but we should; Tauren is more of a hybrid class like the Orc, but isn t really geared toward anything particular of its four classes, so like the Tauren we recommend Druid for Tauren as with Warrior. Here s some Druid specs:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3074 Restoration Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6807 Tanking/Resto Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6667 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7328 Moonkin Build

Tauren also rolls old school with a warrior because of high starting strength it s a good pair for a hybrid class, we would recommend a Protection spec with T. Warriors:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7680 Protection Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4771 Tanking Build 20man +
============================

Human
Were to place Humans; they really don t have any strengths, they are the Alliances only hybrid race, so Anything goes for them; casters will find it easier because Alliance can use Perception and they have bonus Spirit, so caster are the way to go, but Melee is ok too.

Draeni - * We haven t hit level 30 yet *
We love this race; spent hours in BC beta playing as these guys and we can safely say go Melee. They are like Orcs for the Alliance, they have an AoE at level 1 that get more powerful every 15 levels, not sure about the final version. Rolling Melee with Draeni is a wise choice or being a Shaman is good too. We may do Draeni stuff as soon as we hit LvL 30 with one.

Night Elf
Since Night Elf has Shadowmeld and Quickness, its best to play a fragile class such as priest or you can roll hybrid with a druid. Night Elf s make OK Rogues, but that will come up later with the Gnomes as recommendation because Night Elf s have less starting Agility than the Gnomes do. Here are some specs for Priests:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7568 Shadow/Disc Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4520 Holy Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=8622 Holy Build 2

If you re planning to roll Druid; NE is the only Alliance race that can:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3074 Restoration Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6807 Tanking/Resto Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6667 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7328 Moonkin Build

Dwarf
Dwarfs are a Melee class; but they have Priests, we say do whatever you want when it comes to Dwarf. With Priests they are the same as others, but dwarf has Stoneform; which means it is resistant to what other race are vulnerable too, plus it increases armor by 10%; great for cloth wearers. Rogues need to concentrate on building Strength before Agility *that come third to Stamina*; because it s good to make advantage of the dwarfs good starting Strength and Stamina. Here s build for Priests:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4520 Holy Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7568 Shadow/Disc Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=8622 Holy Build 2

Dwarf paladins are awesome because of Stone Form and its starting strength :

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6141
Healer/Tanking
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6103
Full Support * Priest with Plate *
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3797
Two Handed Monster

Dwarf Rogues should spec in either Combat/Assassination or PvP builds:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=83 PvP Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7410 Combat/Assass Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5966 Sword/Mace Build

Dwarf Warriors should spec Fury; because they can hit hard with their high strength and score major critical strikes; they can also roll Protection:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4678 PvP/Grinding
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4724 Fury Shield
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7680 Protection Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=4771 Tanking Build 20man +

Gnome
Gnomes have the highest in starting Agility and Intellect for the Alliance Arsenal; so naturally they should play either a Rogue or Mage, Warlock. As a Rogue they should concentrate more on Agility than Strength, working on AGL then STM then STR. Mages should work on INT and STM and SPRT as with the Warlock. Here s some build for Rogues :

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=83 Dagger Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7345 PvE Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=1423 Sword Build

Gnome mages are great because they have higher starting INT and have Escape Artist:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=7234 PvE/Raiding Frost Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5738 PvP Fire/Frost Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=6289 Arcane Build

For Warlocks it s a good idea for gnomes to run with a Destro build:

http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=5290 Nuke/DOT Build
http://wowvault.ign.com/talentcalculator/ViewTemplate.php?templateid=3790 Destro Build

Unlimited Mana for Priests! World of Warcraft cheats

This one was pretty beautiful, and fun to experience!

We were doing quests in Terokkar Forest..

The quest was:

The Big Bone Worm (Group) - http://wow.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?wquest=10930

This is a questchain, consist of 3 parts.. We were doing the 3rd one(where the big worm pops out/ (LV 67 Warrior, LV 69 Priest and LV 64 Rogue/me..), when our Priest somehow triggered a BUG! His mana-regeneration gone wild! No matter how many Greater Heal did he cast, his mana was full again, by the time his casting was finished. He couldn't even cast anything that fast that it would have made his mana under 95%!
We thought we do some instance just the 3 of us to gain crazy XP, but when he entered the instance the BUG became untriggered :((( So if you experience something like this, better not try to get into instance, die, or anything..Just be happy and kill anything you see :))

Im posting this because i hope there is someone out there the with the time, patience, will and energie to investigate and tell us how did it happen..
Was it a one time only BUG? Or is it possible to trigger anytime? If so, it would be an insane fast lv-up tactic or farm tactic for all the lucky Priests out there )

Cant tell much about details, but feel free to ask if any info could be useful.. (what he was wearing etc..)

Good Luck!

Engineering goggles without the skill World of Warcraft update

If you have a twink caster you are probably going to stay at that level for quite while. If you level your engineering up to the point where you can wear the best googles you can get, put them on, then drop engineering, the googles will stay on you until you take them off. So you could then pick up a different skill.

Bunch of BWH Teleporting Cords World of Warcraft talent

Ok I found this somewhere. It is a bunch of BWH Teleporting Cords. BWH pretty much got nerfed on any legal server so I wouldn't use it but if your ever play on a private server like I do then they can be useful.

Cooking and Fishing to 300 fast Warcraft release date

Cooking and Fishing: Combo Guide for Alliance

This guide is intended to give directions to get a level 40+ Alliance character from zero to 300 in cooking and fishing at the same time. It's not the only way to skill-up these professions, but it's very easy and requires a minimum of travel (always a plus). All drop percentages and location details are borrowed from Thottbot and Allakhazam.

Note on fishing: Fishing levels up at the same rate no matter where you fish. It is entirely possible to go from 1 to 300 skill points without ever leaving a newbie zone (except for training and the artisan quest, obviously). This would be incredibly boring and you wouldn't get all the useful / lucrative fish (not to mention not being able to skill-up cooking at the same time), but it will take no longer than if you fish in level-appropriate areas.

Apprentice fishing and cooking (1-75)
1.Get apprentice Cooking from Gremlock Pilsnor in Kharanos, Daryl Riknussun in Ironforge, or Stephen Ryback in Old Town, Stormwind.
2.Get apprentice Fishing from Arnold Leland in Stormwind. He on a small dock in the canals in the NW corner of the trade district.
3.Buy a fishing pole from Catherine Leland, who should be near Arnold. You should also get a couple Shiny Baubles and the recipe for Brilliant Smallfish while you're there.
4.Go to any body of water in Elwynn Forrest and start fishing! Northshire will be easiest until you get to 20 or so. You should get Brilliant Smallfish 60% of the time.
5.When you've got a ton of Brilliant Smallfish, find a cooking fire (or make one yourself) and cook up your fish.
6.Repeat until you have between 50 and 75 skill points in both cooking and fishing.

Journeyman Fishing and Cooking (50-150)
1.Go to Tharynn Bouden in goldshire for the recipe for Longjaw Mud Snapper
2.Go back to Stephen Ryback in Stormwind for Journeyman Cooking
3.Find Arnold Leland again for Journeyman Fishing, and get some Nightcrawlers from his wife too.
4.Start fishing right there on the dock. You mostly want Longjaw Mud Snappers - their drop rate is about 65%. You will also get some Bristle Whisker Catfish here. Keep them for later.
5.Reel in the Longjaw Mud Snappers and cook them until your fishing skill is up to 100.
6.Return to Catherine Leland and buy the recipe for Bristle Whisker Catfish and a bunch of Bright Baubles.
7.Head to Redridge and start fishing Lake Everstill for Bristle Whisker Catfish. You should get around a 60% drop rate.
8.Fish and cook away until your fishing and cooking are between 125 and 150

Expert Fishing and Cooking (125-225)
1.For expert fishing, get the book Expert Fishing - The Bass and You from Old Man Hemming in Booty Bay. He's in a little house on the docks with a fishhook sign out front.
2.You need to get the book Expert Cooking from Shandrina in Ashenvale. This book will teach you Expert Cooking. She is on the northern shore of Mystral Lake.
3.After you get the cooking book, head north to Astranaar and start fishing for more Bristle Whisker Catfish. It will get your cooking up to 175, but it turns green at 160 so you'll have to make a bunch. Your fishing won't level very fast either after 140 or so. You just have to keep at it.
4.When you've gotten your cooking up to 175, head to Menethil Harbor and buy the recipe for Rockscale Cod from Stuart Fleming on the docks.
5.Take the boat to Theremore and start fishing for Rockscale Cod.
6.You'll probably need Bright Baubles to catch anything here at this point, and you can get them from Helenia Olden in town if you don't have any on you. She is in the 1st big house on the left as you enter Theremore from the docks, just behind the griffon master. She also sells other recipes you might be interested in.
7.Catch and cook all the Rockscale Cod you can - They drop nearly 60% here. You will sometimes catch Spotted Yellowtail also. Hold on to them for later
8.This is where you'll start to really notice the difference in skill-up speed between fishing and cooking. You'll max out your cooking in no time, but your fishing skill will still be well under 200. You can stay here if you want, but once you get to 200 you'll get better fish if you move on to Feralas (see below). Save any Zesty Clam Meat and Spotted Yellowtail you catch while there.

Artisan Fishing and Cooking (225-300)
1.Unlike the other skill levels, you need to be maxed out (225) at expert to get the artisan quests for fishing and cooking. The quests will not be available to you until you're at least level 35 and have 225 skill points.
The artisan cooking quest is Clamlette Surprise. You will probably be ready for this quest long before your fishing is up to 225, but that's ok. Head to Gagetzan in Tanaris and talk to Dirge Quikcleave in the Inn to get the quest.
2.One of the requirements for the quest is 10 pieces of Zesty Clam Meat. The easiest way to get zesty clam meat is fishing off the dock in Feralas, as you should have been doing for the last 20 skill points or so. They don't drop often, but all this extra fishing will help you get the skill caught up with cooking.
3.The other two quest items are Giant Eggs and Alterac Swiss. The eggs drop from the Rocs in tanaris, as well as owlbeasts in the hinterlands. The swiss is sold by innkeepers in several towns. Check here for the full list. Return to Dirge Quikcleave in Gadgetzan when you have all the items, turn in the quest, and you'll be an artisan cook.
4.Remember that Spotted Yellowtail you saved? Now you can cook it up all tasty-like after you get the recipe from Gikkix in Steamwheedle Port, Tanaris. Gikkix also sells the recipe for Poached Sunscale Salmon, which you can use at cooking level 250. Your best bet is to get them both now so you don't have to come back later.
5.To receive artisan fishing, you have to do a quest called Nat Pagle, Angler Extreme. Nat is on one of the small islands due west of Theremore. The coordinates (for those that can use them) are 58,60.
The quest requires you to get one each of 4 rare fish. It's a good idea to read the comments on Thottbot and Allakhazam to find out exactly where you need to fish for them. Anecdotal evidence suggests these fish may be timed drops. If somebody else just caught one, it might be a while until another drops. Take this into consideration if it seems like it's taking forever to get one of the fish.
6.Once you've caught them all, head back to Nat and complete the quest to become an artisan fisherman.
7.To max out both fishing and cooking, head on back to Feathermoon Stronghold in Feralas. You will probably need bright baubles to catch anything here, but it's worth it. In addition to lots of spotted yellowtail, you'll sometimes catch valuable fish like Firefin Snapper and Stoneskin Eel (which go for 50s each in the auction house).
8.Fishing in this area will also occasionally yield Glossy Mightfish. The recipe for cooked Glossy Mightfish is limited, but might be worth it for the +10 stamina bonus you get for eating it. You should have quite a few of these by the time you wrap up.
9.Continue to catch and cook Spotted Yellowtail until you either top out at 300 or fall asleep from boredom. Cooking will go quickly with the Spotted Yellowtail recipe staying orange until 260 and remaining point-worthy all the way to 300. Fishing however slows to a crawl. You'll only be getting about 1 point per 5 or 6 fish at 240, and it's down to 1 in 10 by 280.
10.If you want, you can do the last 10-15 points or so of fishing in Zul'Gurub. You will need to be in a raid group to get inside the instance (you can disband as soon as you get in), as well as being at least level 55. You will definitely need an Aquadynamic Fish Attractor and possibly a Big Iron Fishing Pole as well. The good news is that the Lightning Eel and Plated Armorfish you catch will make it worth the price of admission. As soon as you enter ZG, jump off the stairs to the right and you can fish off the platform without aggroing any mobs.
11.Remember, once you've maxed out cooking, you can work on fishing anywhere and it will continue to skill up at the same rate. Instead of grinding away at it all at once, you're better off using it as something constructive to do while you're waiting around for something else.
Good luck, happy fishing, and enjoy your food!

Speed-running Blackrock Depths Level 50-70 Druid Warcraft

Blackrock Depths Guide

Introduction:

Blackrock Depths is to this day the biggest instance you can find

in Azeroth, it is a huge zone, and this guide will help you to find

your way in it. This zone has also the biggest amount of quests ever

seen in an instance. We try to keep everything to the minimum in the

walkthrough.

We highly recommend you read the quest gathering

section carefully before anything, because many quests are

linked to each other, many have pre-requisites, some start outside

the instanced area even. Be aware that BRD (BlackRock Depths), has

been designed for a solid 5-man group, and that it also has been

designed to clear the instances a few times before you get to

complete every quest (especially the most rewarding ones). You can be

sure you will at the very least do 3 BRD runs before you have all the

quests done. Anyways, when you will be feeling at home with this

place, you will realize it is a goldmine, and you will probably want

to go back to it a few more times. (You will have to one day or

another anyways, because the portal to Molten Core is there.)

Gathering the quests:

鈥?gt; There is a great map here that you will definitely need.%26lt;鈥?

Horde %26amp; Alliance:

NOTE (Important): The quests marked in Orange

are the ones you must have up (or already completed) before you enter

the instance for the first time. Try doing the Disharmony of

Flame
(Horde) / Overmaster

Pyron
(Alliance) quest as soon

as possible, so you can get access to all the Orange quests listed.

If there is still a quest you can't access, don't worry, come back

later after your first BRD run and check again, it should get

unlocked at some point.

  1. [60] Attunement to the Core

    (Elite)
, given by Lothos Riftwaker, an elf

outside the instance. You need to do this quest to be able to

teleport easily into The Molten Core by jumping out of the window

next to Lothos Riftwaker. A must do for when you are level 60.

  2. [52]Dark Iron Legacy (Elite)

, given by Franclorn Forgewright, outside the instance (see

map). Franclorn is a ghost, so in order to talk to him, you must be

in ghost form (die pls!). It's important that you get the quest from

him before entering the instance, because it's the only way to get

the Shadowforge key, which unlocks the doors to the

interesting areas of BRD. Don't bother with any quest not marked in

orange for now, and follow this guide blindly.

  3. [53]Ribbly Screwspigot (Elite)

, given by Yuka Screwspigot in Flame Crest, Burning

    Steppes.
Pre-req for this quest is to complete the quest Yuka

    Screwspigot
, given by Yorba Screwspigot in Tanaris.

  4. [54]The Love Potion (Elite), given by Mistress

    Nagmara
inside BRD, at the Grim Guzzler Tavern.

This quest requires you to gather different components in different

places of Azeroth. Completing it is worth it, besides the item

reward, Mistress Nagmara has another function. When you have

completed the Love Potion quest, on your next runs to BRD, she will

open the backdoor of the Tavern for you if you talk to her. That way

you won't need to kill Phalanx everytime you go through the Grim

    Guzzler.

  5. [58]The Heart of the Mountain

    (Elite)
, given by Maxwort Uberglint, at the

Flame Crest, Burning Steppes. This quest's objective is to

open every coffer in the BRD Vault. For that you need your group to

have gathered 12 Vault Coffer Keys. They can drop from any

    Iron Dwarf in BRD.

  6. [58]A Taste of Flame (Elite)

, given by Cyrus Therepentous. Objective is to kill

Bael'Gar in BRD (see map) and to capture his fiery

    essence
with the help of an Altered Black Dragonflight

    Molt
. How to get the Dragonflight Molt:

A long series of quests starting with Kalaran Windblade, in Searing Gorge, you

can find him North of the area called 'The Cauldron' (loc 39,39). He

will have you do a bunch of quests, starting with [48] The

    Flawless Flame
, until you get to the point where you get the

Torth of Retribution, and then he will send you to Squire

    Maltrake
. Squire Maltrake will give you the quest [52]Set

    Them Ablaze!
, you will have to use the Torch on the braziers

in each of the 4 towers. After you finish the quest, Kalaran will

turn into a dragon (not an aggressive one, don't worry) and talk to

you, and a chest will appear on the ground. Opening it gives you a

quest, complete it and you will get a box. Inside this box is the

Black Dragonflight Molt. Now that you have the Black

Dragonflight Molt, go talk to Cyrus Therepentous, he is in the

Eastern part of Burning Steppes, in a cave (loc 39,39).

Horde:

  1. [52]Disharmony

    of Flame (Elite)
    , given by Thunderheart, in

Kargath Outpost, Badlands. Objective of this quest is to kill

Overmaster Pyron, who can be found outside of the BRD instance, he

roams around the bridge leading you to the instance portal.

  2. [56]Disharmony of Fire (Elite),

given by Thunderheart as well. This quest is the follow up of

    Disharmony of Flame.

Objective is to kill Lord Incendius (details

about this can be found in the walkthrough) and to loot a tablet

    from him.

  3. [52]KILL ON SIGHT: Dark Iron

    Dwarves (Elite)
, given by the WANTED poster

in Kargath, Badlands. Anvilrage Footmen, Warden and Guardsmen

can be found in the first areas of BRD, you can hardly miss them.

This quest leads to the following:

  4. [54]KILL ON SIGHT: High Ranking Dark Iron Officials

    (Elite)
, given by the same WANTED poster after you

completed the previous quest. You can find those Dark Iron Officials

mostly on the Dark Iron Highroad (close to Bael'Gar, check

map). When you have both KILL ON SIGHT quests done, a new

    quest will unlock:

  5. [58]Grark Lorkrub (Elite), given by Lexlort

in Kargath, Badlands. This quest will send you to Burning

    Steppes
, you can find Grark Lorkrub inside the Blackrock

    Orc fortress
, east of blackrock moutain. Finishing this

    quest unlocks a last one:

  6. [58]Operation: Death to Angerforge (Elite),

given by Warlord Goretooth in Kargath, Badlands. (See

above for pre-requisites). Will describe later on how to get to

General Angerforge and how to kill him.

  7. [52]Commander Gor'Shak (Elite)

, given by Galamav the Marksman in Kargath,

    Badlands
(he is on top of the Guard Tower). If you don't get

this quest, then try doing Disharmony of Flame to

unlock it. After you complete the Commander Gor'Shak script

sucessfully (Commander survives), go talk to Kharan Mighthammer. He

is in the opposite jail. Listen to his story and then you will be

    sent to Thrall.

  8. [59]The Royal Rescue (Elite), given by Thrall

in Orgrimmar, the pre-req for this quest is to complete the

Commander Gor'Shak quest. The objective is to Kill

Emperor Dagran Thaurissan and to rescue Princess Moira

    Bronzebeard
    . (Will be described later)

  9. [55]Lost Thunderbrew Reciepe

    (Elite)
, given by Vivian Lagrave in Kargath,

    Badlands
. Will describe how to get that reciepe later in the

    guide.

  10. [55]The Last Element (Elite),

given by Shadowmage Vivian Lagrave in Kargath, Badlands.

Pre-req for this quest is to complete Disharmony of Flame.

Objective is to gather 10x Essence of the Elements, which can be

dropped by Golems and Elementals inside BRD.

  11. [58]The Rise of the Machines

    (Elite)
,given by Lotwil Veriatus, East of Kargath,

    Badlands
. Pre-requisite for that quest is to complete [54]The

    Rise of the Machines
    , given by Hierophant Theodora

    Mulvadania
in Kargath, Badlands. The pre-req quest can be

    done solo at lvl 54+.

Alliance:

  1. [52]Overmaster Pyron (Elite),

given by Jalinda Sprig, at the Alliance outpost in Burning

    Steppes
. Overmaster Pyron is a Fire Elemental, you can find him

right before the intance portal to BRD.

  2. [56]Incendius! (Elite),

given by Jalinda Sprig as well. This quest is the follow up

    of [52]Overmaster Pyron.

  3. [55]Hurley Blackbreath (Elite),

given by Ragnar Thunderbrew at the Tavern in Kharanos, Dun

    Morogh
    .

  4. [56]The Good Stuff (Elite),

given by Oralius, at the Alliance outpost, Burning

    Steppes
. Any humanoid type inside BRD can drop Dark Iron Fanny

pack. You will complete this quest on your way through the instance.

  5. [54]Marshal Windsor (Elite)

, given by Marshal Maxwell, at the Alliance Outpost,

    Burning Steppes
. Objective is to find Marshal Windsor in BRD.

    (see map)

  6. [54]Abandoned Hope (Elite), given by Marshal

Windsor in BRD as a follow-up from previous quest.

  7. [58]A crumpled up note (Elite), found on any

mob in BRD. Right-Clicking the note starts the quest, which

requires you to go and talk to Marshal Windsor again. The note only

starts to drop AFTER you've turned in [54]Abandoned

    Hope (Elite)
at Marshall Maxwell in Morgan's Vigil.

  8. [58]A shred of Hope (Elite), given by Marshal

    Windsor
after bringing the Crumpled up note to him.

Objectives of that quest is to gather the marshal's lost

information. For that you have to kill General Anvilrage and

Golem Lord Argelmach (details about this in the walkthrough).

After you complete this quest and turn it in at Marshal Windsor, he

will give you the follow up below:

  9. [58] Jail Break! (Elite) This is the dreaded

escort quest, you will have to escort Marshal Windsor out of BRD.

And you MUST do it, it's a very important quest as it's your onyxia

key quest line. Details about this will be given in the guide at the

    proper moment.

  10. [59]Kharan Mighthammer (Elite),

given by King Magni Bronzebeard himself, in Ironforge.

Kharan Mighthammer is in one of the jails in BRD. (see map) The

pre-req for this quest is to complete [54]The Smoldering Ruins

    of Thaurissan
given by Royal Historian Archesonus, in

Ironforge. That quest is easy to complete solo, go to the

Ruins of Thaurissan in the Burning Steppes and look around for

    little stones and click them.

After finishing the previous quest (talking to Kharan

    Mighthammer
), he will give you the quest The Bearer of bad

    news
,go back to King Magni Bronzebeard who will give

    you the follow-up quest:

  11. [59]The Fate of the Kingdom (Elite), objectives

are to kill Emperor Thaurissan while letting Princess

    Moira Bronzebeard
alive (even though she will be beating on your

group). Details about this later in the walkthrough.

Where:

The entrance to the Blackrock Mountain can be accessed

either from Searing Gorge or Burning Steppes. It

doesn't matter what side you come from. You will appear in a large

cave, with a floating rock over the lava pit, bound by huge iron

chains to the inner walls of the moutain. This area appears on the

map, this is where Franclorn Forgewright is marked. You aren't

in the Instance part yet, but the guide will start here鈥?
Walkthrough:

We're assuming you followed our directions so far and have all the

Orange quests up (or completed). Starting from that, let's move to

the first step:

Group composition:

Note: We strongly recommend NOT going there

unless your group average is 55+ at least.

  1. 1. Healer:

    Priest or Restauration-heavy Druid

  2. 2. Tank:

    Warrior or Prot spec Paladin

  3. 3. Mage

    or Warlock:
TRY to get a mage (with Improved Arcane

Explosion talent), you can still do the instance without a mage, but

your life is gonna be much easier if you got one with you. Not only

for the usual benefit of having a mage (Polymorph and DPS), but more

because when you will get to the Lyceum you will need

to use AEs (Area Effect attacks) a lot.

If you don't get a mage, try hard to get a warlock. Hellfire is a nice replacement for Arcane

Explosion. But also, Warlocks are really great to have in BRD.

Because they can banish elementals, and you will see how hard those

elemental pulls are. Having Both Mage and Warlock is great as

    well.

  4. 4.

    Support:
Backup healer, tank and buffer such as Shaman

or Paladin is very nice to have.

  5. 5. DPS: A Rogue is the

primary choice here, improved sap helps a lot and their DPS is most

welcome. Can also go with a Hunter which is really nice dps

    plus some offtanking power.

    PS: This was just a

list of classes that make your life easier in BRD, it's basically

your 'ideal' group setup for this zone. BUT you can still (if

playing with skill) clear BRD with weird group compositions, it will

    just be harder.

1. The Jail Area:

If you don't have a rogue with a high enough Lockpicking skill,

you will have to hunt for the Prison Cell key. It's dropped by High

Interrogator Gerstahn, 50% drop rate. You can find Gerstahn in the

middle of the jail area. Once that is done, you can open the cells

and talk to NPCs trapped in there.

Alliance: Go talk to Kharan

Mighthammer
and Marshal Windsor. (Both marked on the map)

You will normally get the follow-up quests: [54]Abandoned Hope

and The Bearer of Bad News. Don't forget to turn those

quests in before your next BRD run. Or, if your group is ok with it,

warp to Ironforge, turn in The Bearer of Bad News and

get the follow up, then fly to Morgan's Vigil and turn in

[54]Abandoned Hope, get the follow up, also turn in

[52]Overmaster Pyron (Elite)

and get the follow up [56]Incendius!

(Elite)
.

Go back to BRD, kill mobs until a

%26amp;quot;Crumpled Note%26amp;quot; drops, right click it to get the

quest [58] A Crumpled Up Note,

go to Marshal Windsor and turn in it, get the follow up A Shred

of Hope
.

Horde: Go to Commander

Gor'Shak
, and clear the camps of mobs around his cell before

talking to him. When you will talk to Commander Gor'Shak and

activate the rescue quest, a huge bunch of mobs will storm the cell

and try to kill Gor'Shak. You must protect him at all cost. This

fight is surprisingly one of the hardest to accomplish in the zone,

there is a lot of Elite mobs in the pack, you are fighting them in a

very small area, so targeting is a bitch, and on top of that,

Commander Gor'Shak doesn't have much Hit points.

Hints:

Warrior, spam that Demorilizing Shout and then try to build solid

aggro on everything. (having Thorns or Warlock Imp DS

helps)

Everybody else, assist on the same target, take them

down one by one and fast. Watch the Health of Gor'Shak permanently

and try to see if something is hitting him (use %26amp;quot; V %26amp;quot;

Targets). If it's the case, try to draw aggro from that mob, even if

you aren't a tank type. If you fail, you have two choices, either you

reset the instance and try it again right now (you are still close to

the entrance), either you decide to try your luck on your next BRD

run.

If you suceed, congratulations, go talk to Kharan Mighthammer in

the opposite cell, listen to his story, and then you can get the

follow-up quest from Thrall ([59]The Royal Rescue),

after turning that quest in Kargath. Don't forget to do it before

your next BRD run.

2. The Ring of Law

Get out of the jail area, head to the next tunnel to the east, and

enter the Arena where you will have to defeat the Ring of Law (Check

map). The ring of Law is a script, it is started when someone steps

on the circle in the middle of the arena.

After about 20 seconds,

waves of mobs will start to attack you.

There is 3 waves, which consist of a few Elite mobs for the first

two, and a Boss mob for the last wave.

The mobs you will have to

face are randomly generated from a set list. As far as we can tell,

we fought 5 different type mobs / bosses in this script.

The boss mobs have a chance to drop decent blue items. But the main reason why

you are doing this script, is that it's the only way for you to

access the Shadowforge city and to get your key done, and it also

puts every arena spectator in non-agressive mode, which is handy

because you will have to cross the upper part of the arena.

Once you have completed sucessfully the Ring of Law script, the

gates on each side will open, the one that interest you is the West

gate, take it and go up a small corridor, you will end up in a room

which we will named the "Shadowforge Lock" room, you will see later

why. After clearing a few mobs in this room, take a Hairpin turn on

the right, and up the stairs. You will then be on the Upper part of

the arena, where the spectators are. Go all around it to the opposite

side, then start clearing your way North, toward the Vault room area,

through the Domicile. Pulls can be tricky here, so pull with caution.

Once you reach the Vault room, skip it, you most likely don't have 12

Vault coffer keys yet, so no need to bother with that room for now.

Keep going forward and go down the slopes toward Fineous

Darkvire
, the Architect. Pull the golems carefully until you

can get Fineous Darkvire solo. (he roams up the slopes at some point,

just wait until he does). After you kill Fineous, look the hammer

from him, Ironfel. Now go

back the way you came from until you reach the entrance of the arena,

but this time go further south, to the Shrine of Franclorn

Forgewright, and get your Shadowforge Key done.

[img]Wow-Pro_Blackrock%20Depths%20(Level%2050-60)_html_m48a2508.jpg[/img]Note:

(Horde) we would now recommend

that you finish your first KILL ON SIGHT quest and then go turn it in

and get the follow up KILL ON SIGHT quest from Kargath. Because on

the way to bael gar you will find all the Dwarves you need to kill to

finish this quest.

3. Bael'Gar

Use the map to find your way to Bael'Gar, you can easily access

him now that you have the Shadowforge Key. He is a LVL 57 Elite

magma-giant looking monster, is pretty straight forward battle, he

hits hard and has a lot of HP, every once in a while he summons a

mini bael'gar and does a 1500DMG area effect attack at the sawe time.

So when you see him starting to summon, go out of range (unless you

are the warrior). The adds he summons can be killed very quickly,

they have low hit points.

When you take him down, don't forget to

use the Altered Black Dragonflight Molt on his corpse to get

the Encased Fiery essence. [58]A Taste of Flame

Completed!

4. Lord Incendius

Follow the Dark Iron highway east until you reach the lair of Lord

Incendius
. Lord Incendius is an easy fight, he is a level 56

Elite fire elemental boss, hits reasonably hard, nothing too hard

about him. Kill him and don't forget to loot the Tablet of Kurniya

from his remains. Congratulations, you just finished [56]

Disharmony of Fire (Horde) / Incendius! (Alliance)
.

5. General Angerforge

To get access to General Angerforge, you must first go to the

"Shadowforge Lock" Room, it is now easily accessable to you because

you have the key, and the door to this room is actually quite close

to the entrance.

Up the stairs and on the left is a little passage

toward General Angerforge, but you can't access it yet because you

need to unlock a gate. To unlock it you need to click a giant

trigger.

This huge lock is located downstairs in the room, and it requires

the Shadowforge Key to be activated.

Now that you unlocked the gate to shadowforge city, go upstairs

and take the little passage toward General Angerforge.

General Angerforge is your first 'real' fight in BRD. So

prepare it well and clear everything in his room before you engage

him. Getting adds while fighting him would probably mean total

wipeout.

How to: The General has 4 guards, but they are non

elite and have about 1000 Hit points. They die extremely fast, so

take them out while your Warrior tanks the general. The General

himself has a lot of HP and hits reasonably hard, but the real

difficulty in this fight is that when he gets low on health, he will

call for help. About a dozen of dwarves will come to his aid, don't

panic though, most of them are the wuss type (1000 HP). Finish the

General as fast as possible first, then use your AE attacks to kill

the weak mobs quickly. Some of them are Elite AND Healer types

though, make sure your tank taunts those well. Once the 1K HP adds

are dead, stop AEing, just Assist each other on the same targets, and

interupt their heals.

Congratulations on winning your first big fight in BRD!

Note: (Horde) Try

to complete the WANTED quests as fast as possible and the [58]Grark

Lorkrub (Elite)
quest so you get [58]Operation: Death

to Angerforge (Elite)
. Don't hesitate to go out of your way

and kill the remaining Dwarves you miss to complete the WANTED

quests. If you do it well, you should have the last quest up for your

3rd BRD run. And the quest reward for killing Angerforge is then very

interesting.

and 7750 XP.

Note: (Alliance)

%26amp;quot;Loot Marshal Windsor's Lost information%26amp;quot;.

6. Golem Lord Angelmach

After killing the General, go back up the stairs and then across

the room down a few stairs. You will enter a large room, full of

little engineers (non elite) and a few Golems (Elites). Pull very

carefully in this room, and don't charge, PULL, way back to somewhere

safe. You need to clear the whole room, because Lord Argelmach will

call for help and the whole golems + little engineers will aggro.

Once you have the whole room clear, prepare for Argelmach, which

is not an easy fight.

How to: Golem Lord Argelmach himself hits fairly hard. He

procs quite often a 500dmg DD. He has good amount of Hit points, and

on top of that, has 2 Golem guards, which both hit quite hard.

It's gonna be hard fight. So prepare beforehand.

The warrior will be focusing on Argelmach himself and one

of the two golems if needed (if lacking offtanks), and make sure to

have solid aggro. The rest of the group will be taking out the adds

one by one. Decide before hand who will be offtanking one of the

adds. A hunter pet, a warlock pet, a druid in bear form, a paladin or

a shaman, you have multiple choices鈥?You decide who will be

offtanking what before engaging. And you also decide in what

order you will kill the golems.

Stick to the plan, focus, and you should make it.

Note: (Horde)

%26amp;quot;Loot Argelmach's Head%26amp;quot;.

Note:

(Alliance)

%26amp;quot;Loot Marshal Windsor's Lost information%26amp;quot;.

7. The Grim Guzzler

There is one thing preventing you to reach the next room, the grim

guzzler: 2 pulls of 3 Fire Elementals.

They are maybe harder than many boss fights in BRD, so don't take

them lightly. They hit for 400+ on average, and have some nasty

damage hield. Whoever stands close to them gets damaged.

If you

have a warlock, one can be banished, which is a huge relief. If you

don't, you gonna have one hell of a fun fight.

Basically you have to face 3 of those fire elementals at a time.

Use every ability you have to win. You can't have a warrior tank

all 3 at the same time, he will most likely die too fast, or the

healer will get jumped after the first heal. So have the warrior tank

just one, and kill that one first. About the 2 remaining elementals,

you have several options:

Hunter freeze trap (even if it's only a 20 second duration, it

buys you time, its a big help), sacrifice a hunter or warlock pet on

one of the elementals, it has a high chance to die but it will buy

your group enough time to finish the first elemental. Have a mage

kite one of the elementals around (lots of space in this big room)

while you deal with the others.

You can also use a paladin /

shaman / druid to offtank one of the elementals.

You must try at all cost to take the first elemental down fast,

then the warrior will be free to tank the 2nd one. Also, try to space

those elementals, so you don't get hit by the 3 damage shield auras

they have at the same time.

Set up a plan depending on what classes you have in your group,

and stick to it. It WILL be a hard fight. You have been warned

After those 2 hard pulls are behind you, you can enter the Grim

Guzzler.

The grim guzzler is a tavern, full of non agressive mobs,

you can talk to all of them BUT one: Ribbly Screwspigot, as he

becomes agressive if you talk to him, so save that for later.

Get the quest [54]The Love Potion (Elite) from Mistress

Nagmara.

Lost Thunderbrew Reciepe:

Move your group to the side room (filled up with kegs), and start

destroying the kegs there. A bunch of elite mobs will come for you,

pretty standard fight, once they are dead, loot them, one of them has

the item you need to complete [55] Lost thunderbrew recipe

(Horde) / [55] Hurley Blackbreath (Alliance)
.

Stay in this room for the next fight:

Ribbly Screwspigot:

Send your warrior to talk to

Ribbly Screwspigot, he will turn agressive, and so will

his cronies. Have the warrior run then back to the keg room and fight

them there. Loot ribbly's head, congratulations on yet another

completed quest.

Phalanx:

Set up your group right next to where

Phalanx stands, up the stairs in the corner. Have one person of your

group (preferably not the warrior or the priest) go talk to the

barkeeper and buy the beer he has (6 should normally be enough).

(Note: He sells alchemy Recipe: Transmute Fire to Earth)

Then look around for Private Rocknot, he will be ASKING for beer.

So give him beer a few times, until he gets into a drunken rage and

starts to mess around in the tavern.

When he does, Phalanx will

become aggressive, acting as a bouncer, and destroy the backdoor of

the Tavern (right next to where your group is positioned). Right

after the door is shattered, engage Phalanx and fight him in the

corner. He is an easy fight, just hits hard. He also just opened the

door to the last areas of Blackrock Depths.

Note: If you have

completed the Love Potion quest, in your further BRD runs you won't

have to activate Phalanx to break the door anymore, you will just

have to talk to Mistress Nagmara and ask her to go get a room with

Private Rocknot. And she will do that, and open the backdoor in the

process

8. Ambassador Flamelash

Check the map and start working your way to Ambassador

Flamelash
, once you get to him, pull him. He is a DPS fight,

the faster you kill him the better it is. As long as he is alive he

spawns little fire elemental adds, which can become quite dangerous

if they live too long.

If it's getting ugly and your healer is

getting swarmed by adds, don't hesitate to use Challenging shout

or Intimidating shout
.

9. The Seven Dwarves

Work your way towards the chamber of the Seven.

When your group

is fully buffed and ready, talk to Doom'Rel, he will start the

Script.

The script consists of 7 Boss mobs, they will come one by one on a

set timer. So the faster you kill them, the better it is. If you are

too slow in killing one, you will end up having two of them on you at

once, etc.

They are all different classes (Priest, warlock, warrior, rogue,

etc) with all the abilities it implies.

Note: They can be Stunned and Interrupted.

And also Shackled!

If you are quick enough, you will overcome this tough battle, and

the chest of the seven will appear on the floor. (Good items) and the

door to the lyceum will open.

Also, if you are a miner, you can learn Smelt:

Dark Iron
from Gloom'Rel in this room, talk to him

before you start the script. He asks 10 Truesilver Bars, 20 Gold bars

and 2 star rubies just to teach you the skill.

  1. To smelt dark iron ore into dark

iron bars, you need to get to the Dark iron forge. After the Seven

Chamber, go down the stairs and take a right, clear a few fire

elementals and you will find the forge.

  2. To Create dark iron items (such as Dark Iron Pulverizer), you

need to use the Dark Iron anvil, which is located in the lair of

    Lord Incendius).

Once you are done with this room, move down the stairs toward the

Lyceum, a fun area! Rolling Eyes

Straight ahead will be a big gate, to the Lyceum, to the right

though is a path guarded by two groups of fire elementals, if you

want to complete your quest [60]

Attunement to the Core
, that's where you must go.

Right next to the green instance portal (to the raid instance: The

Molten Core), the core fragment can be obtained from a

stalagmite that is to the left of the entrance. Loot the core

fragment to complete the quest.

10. The Lyceum

Goal: Light up the two braziers in two corner of the

Lyceum. It will open up the door to the Emperor area.

How to: Scattered around the room are Shadowforge Flame

Keepers
, they have a 75% chance to dorp the Torch you need to

light up a Brazier. So you will have to kill those twice AT LEAST if

you are lucky.

Now the problem is that room is FULL of bunches of mobs (packs of

20 mobs or so). And the second problem is that they are on a 2min or

so respawn timer.

The good news is that they are those weak 1K hp mobs, and die in

about four Arcane Explosions from a mage. Or Hellfire from a warlock.

Now all you have to do is charge those bunches of mobs, AE them

quickly, drink, move on to next bunch, while hugging the wall as much

as possible. Be careful about the patrols, and try to find the Torch

keepers. Once you got a torch, work your way toward a brazier and

light it.

This is where having no mage or no warlock becomes a real pain. It

is NOT impossible, but it is really a lot harder.

Key to win in this area is to be fast, to all move as one, and to

beat the respawn rate.

Once you manage to light both brazier, the door to the Emperor

area will open. Work your way there, congratulations if you manage

it!

11. Magmus

The last guardian before the Emperor stands before you. Magmus

isn't hard once you know the only surprise feature of this battle.

The statues on each side of the corridor actually are Flamethrowing

devices, they activate when you engage Magmus.

So the key to this fight is to position your group at a spot with

no statue on the side. Magmus hits hard and has a lot of HP, but

besides this, he isn't hard.

11. Emperor Dagran

Thaurissan:

Finally the big boss!

Step 1: Clear the whole room (including the side

floors)

Step 2: Engage the Emperor, have your warrior tank

him. The princess will help him, but she doesn't hurt nearly as much

as the emperor. Best would be to have a Voidwalker or a Hunter pet

tank her while the rest of the group deals with the emperor.

Note: If you have the final quest up [59]The

Royal Rescue (Elite) (Horde) / [59]The Fate of the Kingdom (Elite)

(Alliance)
, you must NOT kill the princess. If you do the

quest fails. You must kill Emperor Thaurissan and then the princess

will be non-agressive. You can then talk to her and finish the quest.

Emperor Thaurissan has a large loot list, and some of them are

great. On top of that, finishing the princess rescue quest nets you

8000 XP and one of the following rewards:

Note: (Alliance) There

is still one quest we haven't done: [58]

Jail Break! (Elite)
. You actually don't have to do it

during this BRD run, you can come back later and do it. That's what

most people do, they shout %26amp;quot;LFG Jail Break%26amp;quot; in the LFG

channel. People see it as a very difficult quest, but it's actually

quite easy if you do the following before accepting the quest:

  1. Clear the whole Jail area,

including the cells. Marshal Windsor will go through the whole ring

    to retrieve his gear.

  2. Clear the Ring of Law

If you have the whole path cleared, it will be quite easy, there

will still be a few mobs that spawn to ambush Marshall Windsor, but

nothing too hard.

Now that those preparations are made, go to

Marshall Windsor, have everyone turn in [58]

A Shred of Hope (Elite)
. Once everyone has done that,

one person should start Jail Break! and everyone will get the quest.

Marshall Windsor can't be healed, so just watch out for his health

and taunt things off him asap, that's the only risk. Good luck!
