My gold making compilation (2000g+ a day)

I make gold using:
1) Herbalism
2) Inscription
————- 1. Herbalism ————–

For this you need to have and 450 herbalism, and epic flight mount or beeing a druid (best of all for herb farming).

I spend about 1-2hrs a day farming herbs. By that time i have about 20 Frost Lotuses and a lots of Icethorn and Lichbloom. After putting all this stuff to AH you will get about 1500-2000 gold (depending on server).

Best time to farm herbs is a night time or early morning. I’m using Gatherer (link) and Routes (Routes : WoWInterface Downloads : Map Mods, coords/compasses addons. I think u know what is Gatherer, so there is no need of describing it. Talking about Routes addon… this addon allow you to draw lines on the worldmap linking nodes together into an efficient farming route. Also this lines will be shown on the minimap. This lines really help u to beeing on the right route after some time of farming (helps not to loose your concentration).

This are the routes shown on my minimap (by the way, i recomend you to use some minimap addon that have feature to inscease it’s scale. I make my minimap about 3x-5x times bigger than it should be. It helps to find herbs without effort):



Also i have some herb spawns in Ice Crown, but i don’t like farming there cuz many herbs there require you to kill some mobs firstly:

Ok, next one. I have 426 inscription ATM. So, after you got your money from herb selling, go to auction house and buy all avaible Adder’s Tongue (Adder’s Tongue - Item - World of Warcraft) (as for me, i don’t spend more than 1000g a day on it). The normal price for this herbs are 20-25g a stack. After you have all your Adder’s Tongue in your bag simply mille it (this is a bit annoying part).
You will have a lots of Azure Pigment and propper ammount of Icy Pigment. Make inks (Sea and Snowfall ofc). After that, go and buy some Eternal Life (it’s normal price is 120-150 gold a stack). If you used my herbalism guide, you will probably have lots of Eternal Lifes from herbs.

P.S. don’t forget that Inks of Sea can be traded to Inks of Snowfall at Dalaran.

Well, you know what’s next. Make Darkmoon Card of the North (Darkmoon Card of the North - Thottbot: World of Warcraft). I make arround 6-10 cards a day. If i’m lucky, 2-3 of them will be one of Noble deck cards, which can be sold up to 1000g per card, and arround 200-500g for cards from other decks.
Also, you can keep some of cards and make a deck for yourself.

Easy gold from Cooking

This is a lot of common sense, but here it comes:
It seems not a lot of people on a lot of servers are caring about cooking and the cooking dailies. So, it’s an very good opportunity to become rich.The cooking recipes sold for the Cooking Awards are much better than the trained ones, and the mats are easy (usually common meat (sometimes x2 of it) and 1 northern spice, which you’ll have plenty if you do the daily everyday)
If you create an stack of a powerful food, you can sell it for like 150-200g, and the cost for that? 5 minutes of daily quest inside Dalaran
Some extra tips:
- if you have another cooking alt, bring him to dalaran to make the daily and send the Northern Spices to your main cook, as they’re not BoP
- get the recipes that create good raid-spec buffs, like Rhinolicious Wyrmstake, which tanks love, and Spicy Fried Herring, for healers and casters in general (also you must be a fisherman)
I’ve been selling Spicy Blue Nettlefish for 200g/stack, and they go quick, and you can find a LOT of nettlefish in Sholazar Basin

Important! Since 3.1 the Cooldown On Mining Nodes Respawn has been set to 60 seconds, This does not mean you can stand in the same spot and mine every 60 seconds, because they respawn in a 100 Yard - 150 Yard range. So mining nodes should be alot easier to find now. What you need:450 Skill MiningEpic Northrend Flying
A Few Starting Tips:
Try to have 20+ space bags, it helps alot, trust me.If your a DK or pally Use Crusaders Aura or DK Talent On a Pale Horse.The best time for this is late at night or early morning before most of the people logon.
Lets Begin.What are you looking for? Answer: Everything! Don’t waste time picking things out of Nodes and flying off, because this A. Is a waste of time, B. Causes confusion later if you fly over trying to remember if you already mined it or not.
You are Aiming For 3 Main Nodes, Saronite Deposit, Heavy Saronite Deposit, and Titanium Vein. Just Shift Click Mine all of these and fly off.
Your route, I’d recommend Starting From Stormpeaks, Scouting the Whole Area for Saronite Then head over to Icecrown, Mining Saronite and Titanium, Once you have covered most of Icecrown Head over to Miners Paradise, Sholazar Basin, Over night this is littered with Saronite and Titanium as far as the eye can see, I assure you, if you mine here on a good empty night, you will make much much more than usual.
After a Good Run You will normally have roughly these amounts of items:Saronite Ore: 300-500 Ore.Eternal Earth: 20~ IshEternal Shadow: 20~ ishEternal Fire: 5~ IshEternal Air/Water: 5~ IshTitanium Ore: 20~40 Ish
Here are the Prices for these items on my Server.Titanium Ore: 5g Each, 80g Per Stack.Saronite Ore: 1g Each, 20g Per StackEternal Earth: 8g Each.Eternal Fire: 25g EachEternal Shadow: 5g EachEternal Air/Water: 10g Each
Also You will mine ALOT of Gems along with your ore/crystallized items, which range from Greens to Blues. Which on my Server normally sell for 3g Each on Greens to 25g Each on Blues.
Here are my Average Earnings for the Time of Day:
Morning: 800g-1000gAfternoon: 700g-900gPeak Time: 400g-600gLate Night/Early Morning: 1500g-2000g+
I know this sounds like hard work, but once again nothing in life is free, you have to work for it.

Easy gold with inscription

You make these books and sell them in trade with a small advertisement saying what they do.
these books turn you into a wolf of different colors.the patters is farmable in less than an hour from silverbrook NPC’s
This may be only farmable by horde due to the NPC’s being friendly…have not tested if this is true
I am selling them on my server for 500g a book and buying the mats for less then 100g each.
Most people do not know about this yet so you may be able to sell them for more.

Turn your honor/arena into gold

Haven’t seen this and I just found it though I’m sure people know about it, its for people that don’t know and are dumb like me.
Have max capped honor is lame and easy with wintergrasp giving so much and nothing to spent it on, also arena points are resetting to 0 next week.
Go to battlemaster jewel guy and buy these Scarlet Ruby - Item - World of Warcraft they sell on my server for 65gold and cost 10k honor.
Turn your left over arena points and get Commendation of Bravery - Item - World of Warcraft. You can only hold 5 at time so gonna have to use em as you buy to cap again.
With 5k arena points and capped honor I made about 1500g in about 5 minutes ( not including time on ah of course), and I still have honor left over for next week.

Very simple.The Borean Leather, this wil be used to make Nerubian Legguards (Nerubian Legguards - Thottbot: World of Warcraft) wich will sell for 5g 33s @ vendor a piece. It costs 8 Borean Leather to make 1 Nerubian Legguards
All the of the meat’s + Arctic Fur’s will be sold on the AH, they bring quite the gold.
The Gray Crap, Green Items will be sold to the vendor.
And this will get me 500g a hour?!Well it depends on how quick you can farm them. Down here is some math of what i farm a hour and how much i sell it on the AH on my server (Bloodhoof EU). Here comes!
