Warrior Leveling

We were wow power leveling really fast with the help of wow guide but had tp stop and wait for to start, then level to 30 having never really played games (with wow gold)befor. So in a tauren warrior level 33 I was mostly prot spec but was getting tired of not holding aggro and loosing it to the hunters ranged attack and my V low dps even with a nice blue sword and shield. We quest and instance together so we have priest, hunter, druid, and warrior. What I want is to be able to tank and hold threat but with some DPS for when we do battle grounds.
I would be interest in know what your main aim to spec. It is going to be that I can ansert a little better. But in the absence of that I will say a few words regardless.
The first thing that I notice in the build really is the use of Improved Rend 3/3. I'd advise speccing away from that talent seriously, Why? Even at max level of the Rend ability, you're not doing very much damage with the DoT at all. Let's say for example, you're weapon modifier to the damage is enough to bring the damage to 200 over 21 seconds (unlikely to get such a perfect equation there really) - a 75% bonus to this damage is only +150 = 350 damage over 21 seconds - which is to say the least, poor.
Without losing further talents in your Arms tree - you could consider throwing those 3 spare points into the Protection tree, and speccing for Tactical Mastery 3/3 for a total of 25 rage retention while changing stances. This would give you a lot of versatility in all circumstances (mastering the Stance Dance is probably the most important aspect of playing a Warrior in PvP and PvE alike I think - many would agree).
It is likely a fact that you could reconsider moving those 3 points away from the Arms tree all together. I'd seriously advise speccing in Fury as much as you can to try and get yourself Enraged 5/5 - which on a white crit of 1000 example, you'll see an increase to 1250 while under it's effects. Nice :) Sadly you'd have to shift a few more points out of Arms and perhaps miss out on some of the other bits there that you want.
You could consider better placing those points in Improved Thunder Clap. The bonus damage will generate a little extra threat on a %26quot;high threat%26quot; ability - which you'll find handy only in PvE against mobs and bosses realistically. But in PvP against other melee classes you will experience a total of 30% increased attack speed against you. This is often enough to turn the tide of battle against warriors you are even geared with, and certainly gives a pleasant edge over rogues.
I could go on a lot. But in theory, the build is sound and would serve you well. If you're keen on getting the absolute most from your points and moreover, understanding why - you'll consider shifting things about a bit.
