I'd missed this in the patch notes; there's a new head enchant from the Shattered Sun, the Glyph of the Gladiator. +18 stamina, +20 resilience. Sounds like a PvP enchant but it's not bad for bear tanks who are comfortable using resilience for crit immunity.
Emmerald's high-gear calculations would put its value at 77. The usual Glyph of the Defender is worth 129. Following on my earlier estimate of tank points / defense.. The Gladiator is equivalent to 30 defense for crit immunity, the Defender has 16 defense. So you're paying about 3.7 tank points / defense. Better than using gems, not as good as some of the other enchants available. From a stats point of view it's 278 health vs. 1.5% dodge. The dodge is clearly better, but if you're needing crit immunity the new enchant is another option.
