The change to Lacerate is a nice buff for ferals. Before my Lacerate was hitting for about 30, now it's hitting for about 50. And whereas before a 5x Lacerate stack would tick for around 230, now it ticks for around 450. Also so many more mobs bleed now that the DoT is more effective. (All stats are when Mangle debuff is up. I have about 2000 attack power unbuffed.)
Sadly, while it's close to a 2x DPS increase it's not a 2x threat increase. Lacerate is thought to do a base 285 threat per attack but only 0.2x damage threat on the bleed damage. For the initial attack, an extra +20 damage * 1.45 multiplier / 1.5 seconds =~ +19 TPS for the attack. For the DoT, an extra +220 damage * .2 threat / 3 seconds = +15 more threat per second. So my back of the envelope math suggests I'm getting about 35 more TPS from Lacerate than before. Not a lot, but it's nice to get a buff.
