I got my first gear upgrade today. At level 75 I got the Staff of the Sorrowful Chieftan to replace my trusty Staff of the Forest Lord. It%26#39;s a relatively easy quest reward; standalone quest in Zul%26#39;drak, takes a group of 2 or 3 to kill a single mob. Nice DPS upgrade for me, plus some extra stamina. If I read Toskk right it%26#39;s the best DPS staff from a quest reward.
I also made an unwelcome discovery; there appears to be no WotLK 2H enchant for ferals. I%26#39;m going with the good ol%26#39; +35 agility. The +85 and +110 attack power enchants may be a bit more DPS for cats, but there%26#39;s no replacement for the dodge, armor, and crit that comes with Agility. Then again a lot of professions seem incomplete in WotLK, maybe they%26#39;ll add something back for us.
Word of warning: Major Agility requires a bunch of Outlands enchanting mats that are going to become scarcer by the day. I%26#39;m stockpiling now.
