Favre started playing late last football season and quickly became a hardcore World of Warcraft addict. Like most WoW addicts, he lost interest in his favorite activities including professional football. In March of 2008, he formally announced his retirement to increase available raid time.
After receiving help from friends and family he reportedly canceled his account and kicked his addiction. Favre has been WoW free for long enough to realize that he is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and that might just be more important than downing Illidan
