WOW-WOTLK Druid Guide

There are many different World of Warcraft Wrath of the Lich King(WOW Wrath or WOTLK) changes for Wotlk Druids. The Echoes of Doom Patch 3.0.2 allowed individuals who have a Wotlk Druid class character to experience many of these changes. If you play a Wotlk Druid, it is important to learn as much as you possibly can regarding these changes so that you may understand how to effectively play your character and optimize the class abilities to your advantage. Here, you will be introduced to the many changes that have been made to the Wotlk Druid class for World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King Expansion.
Talent Tree
The Wrath Druid has the Talent Tree of "Balance", "Feral", and "Restoration". Many different changes have occurred that involve all components of the Talent Tree. If you are trying to achieve specific abilities and a general type of game play, it is important to understand the new changes that have taken place with this class. Listed below are the changes broke down by talent tree.
Balance
• If you case the spell of "Brambles", you can now experience an increase the overall damage that is done by the "Treants" and the overall amount of damages caused by the same.
• The "Control of Nature" for the Wrath Druid has been completely removed.
• "Celestial Focus" has received a boost when it comes to spell haste. In addition to this, the "Stun" aspect proc now works together with the spell of "Starfall".
• Before, the "Force of Nature" had a cooldown of three minutes; however, with Wrath of the Lich King(WOW Wrath), this has been reduced to two minutes.
• There is a new talent that can be experienced by the Druid, called "Nature's Splendor". This is extremely effective in increasing the overall duration of the "Insect Swarm" and the "Moonfire".
While this does not provide a complete list of the "Balance" aspect of the Talent Tree changes, it provides an in depth look at some of the better changes that have taken place with the Lich King Druid class.
Feral
• "Faerie Fire" used to require a 21 point accumulation of talent points to acquire, but now all the Druid has to have in Wrath of the Lich king is 11 points to acquire it.
• If you go into the form of a cat as a Druid, you can now use "Feral Charge".
• There is a new talent that can be experienced that is referred to as "Protector of the Pack". If you are in the form of a bear, or in the form of a Dire Bear, damage is reduced and the overall attack power is increased. This is effective on you as an individual player and/or other players that are part of your party.
• You have now received another new talent that is referred to as "Mother Bear". This too increases the overall attack power, and the damage that is dealt to you and your party is reduced.
• There is another new talent that is called "Natural Reaction". This basically works to increase the dodge chance and assists in "Rage" regeneration.
Restoration
• "Furor" increases your Moonkin form's intellect level.
• Instead of having to have 5 points to acquire "Nature's Focus", you now only need 3 points. Additionally, you can now locate this in the Tier 1 area instead of the Tier 2 area of the tree.
• In "Tree of Life" many changes have occurred. First, the snare penalty of 30% has been removed. You also have the ability to cast the spell of "Dispel Curse", and this helps in reducing the amount of mana is required for the casting of particular spells.
• "Subtlety" is a talent that used to require at least 5 points to acquire, but with Wrath of the Lich King(Wotlk), it is now only a 3 point talent. Normally, you would find this in the Tier 3 area of the Talent Tree, but since the Echoes of Doom Patch 3.0.2, it has been moved to the Tier 2 section of the tree. You will experience with the spells that are Restoration based a reduced threat. This also will help to ensure that important spells are not dispelled by reducing the chance that they will be.
• The "Tranquility" aspect of the part of the Restoration Talent Tree has now improved in that it reduces the amount of time that you have to wait on cooldown by anywhere between a percentage of 25 and 50.
Now, remember, while many changes are listed here that are related to the three aspects of the Talent Tree, these do not detail all of the changes that are related to the Wotlk Druid when it comes to World of Warcraft's Wrath of the Lich King. In addition to these changes, there are some basic changes that you may want to learn more about. They are as follows:
• The Druid can now use a new spell that is called "Revive". When you use this spell, it returns the actual spirit of the character right back to the body and brings it back to life. The great thing about this is that when the target is revived, there have both mana and health. Unfortunately, this spell can't be used when the WOW Wrath Druid is in combat, but it is a very helpful spell.
• When the Druid uses "Entangling Roots" they can now use it inside and outside! Before Wrath of the Lich King, this spell was only available to use in outdoor use, but with the Echoes of Doom Patch 3.0.2 made this spell available for indoor use as well!
• "Feral Swiftness" is another action that could normally be done only outside when playing a Druid in World of Warcraft. However, now, this can be done indoors as well.
If you play a Wotlk Druid in World of Warcraft, there are many changes that can be enjoyed in the release of the Echoes of Doom Patch 3.0.2 for anticipation of Wrath of the Lich King(Wotlk). While this is rather detailed list of changes made, there are many other changes that you can enjoy as well!
