How to solo Ruul as a Hunter

This is meant for hunters wanting to see if they can solo Ruul the Darkener for the quest of the Third Cipher.

While not entirely practical, it IS doable, and my hunter at the time was wearing blue/green gear. I%26#8217;m BM spec with a little Marksman.

No particular spec is required for this fight, no consumables are required?but both are helpful.

However, you MUST have purchased your epic flying mount skill and completed Mordenai%26#8217;s quest line (starting with the quest called %26#8220;Kindness%26#8221;).

This is so the mobs in Dragonmaw Fortress become friendly to you, enabling you to run around without aggro.

Otherwise, all that%26#8217;s needed is a lot of patience, practice, and ammo.

I have a lvl 33 Draenei Hunter, and need to know the best spots for leveling. BlizzGuide recomends thousand needles or shimmering flats, this is mainly a horde plae, and frankly, i%26#8217;m sick of being ganked. They also suggest Stranglethorn Vale, but these guides show up red for me, and the npc%26#8217;s i gta kill are 5-6 lvls ahead. Im in the hillsbad, arathi area, and all my quests here are also red. Anyone got ne advice? Thanks!


Check out Desolace, it%26#8217;s a level 30 zone and theres usually no one ever there.

Arathi Highlands is another grat place at level 30.

I just am starting a dwarf hunter. I wanted to know, were do i do quests if im level 9 and i did all of the ones in kharnos and that little valley to the east? and when you tell me were to quest, then at about 14 i go to west falls right? also, im just wondering? how are hunters in general? Thanks!
If you%26#39;ve done all the quests in that area, your next step should probably be Loch Modan (you leave the current map by the north-east corner). That will probably keep you busy for another 5-10 levels or so. Make sure that you stop by Ironforge first and have the flight point (and pick up a profession or two, as well!). =)
